Director of Development

Description:

  • Volunteer Position
    Heads up all aspects offunds developmentfor TWST4Girls
  • Manages and directs a team of grant writers
  • Researches opportunities for grants, fundraising, community involvement etc...
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive program that includes broad-based fundraising from individuals, corporations, and foundations, marketing and communications efforts,
  • Works to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward current and prospective donors.
  • Develops and maintains a sponsorship package
  • Identify major gift prospects and conduct personal meetings, ongoing follow-up and requests for support.
  • Manage current grant funders and conduct prospect research and outreach to identify and engage with potential grant funders.
  • Draft and submit grant proposals for operational support, TWST programs and capital improvement projects.
  • Draft appeal letters and other fundraising- and marketing-related publications.
  • Identify new corporate partners and work with the Program Manager to expand corporate relationships.
  • Plan and execute donor stewardship and cultivation events.
  • Create and oversee TWST4Girls Annual Fundraiser Gala/Event
  • Oversee donor data management efforts, ensuring data entry is accurate and comprehensive and that acknowledgment letters are turned around within a 48-hour window
