This is a highly important position as the Director of Volunteers is considered our ambassador of impressions. If you are patient, kind-hearted, love dealing with people and have great management skills, this position may be for you!Description:
  • Heads up volunteer aspects of TWST4Girls
  • Receives and responds to applications with further instructions
  • Schedules and facilitates interviews
  • Sends all onboarding information and emails to new volunteer
  • Sends denial letters to applicants who do not meet our mentor standards
  • Adds and welcomes new TWST Mentors to all communication systems (email groups and group chats)
  • Schedules mentor training with Director of Training
  • Tracks volunteer hours and attendance
  • Sends appropriate communication to mentors who have not logged hours
  • Keeps abreast of organizations volunteer needs and recruits accordingly
  • Periodically checks in with mentors/volunteers to answer any questions or concerns (or retrieves answers from appropriate sources).
  • Informs Executive Director of new recruit(s)
  • Attends recruiting fairs
