About this Opportunity
Are you friendly, compassionate? Spring’s a great time to try something new. Considering supporting the Samaritan Inpatient Unit in Mount Holly by greeting family members and visitors coming to visit their loved ones, escorting as needed to patient rooms, answering/directing calls, and representing Samaritan. The Unit is located inside Virtual Hospital Mount Holly. The In-Patient Unit Volunteers shifts occur on the weekends. Saturday and Sunday Shifts are the same: 8am to noon and noon to 4PM. We ask that all volunteers bring the following qualities to their work at Samaritan: good communication and listening skills, a nonjudgmental attitude, reliability, flexibility, and compassion.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum Age: 18
- One-year commitment. Volunteer Orientation and Training.
- Some medical requirements.
