Join a team of compassionate volunteers sharing your time and talents to support hospice patients and their families. Youll receive training and orientation to help you feel confident and comfortable.

Direct Patient Support Volunteers

Support our patients and their families by offering a warm presence and a helping hand.

• Assist with day-to-day indoor and outdoor tasks like mowing the lawn, walking the dog, washing dishes, and more
• Sit with patients to read or watch something on TV
• Take a patient out for a short walk
• Keep a patient company while caregivers take a break
• Share your specialized skills including reiki, massage, pastoral care, and cosmetology
• Just be together

Arts, Crafts, and Music Volunteers

Music reaches patients in very special ways while some patients need help finishing up projects or exploring creative expression. Lets develop a plan to share your talents.

Care for Veterans

BAYADA proudly offers specialized support to our nations veterans. We are eager to connect our patients with volunteers who have also served!

Administrative Support Volunteers
