About Us: Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP):
Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization committed to building and delivering beds to children in need because every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to sleep. Our local Montgomery chapter works year-round with volunteers and community partners to bring comfort and dignity to children across our area.We help children who have been sleeping on the floor, on couches, or sharing overcrowded sleeping spaces.
The Opportunity Material Loading Volunteer:
Were gearing up for a remote Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed build, and we need a few strong, reliable volunteers to help us load the SHP truck with equipment and supplies.
What Youll Be Doing:
Lifting and loading supply bins, tools, and equipment
Helping move materials from storage to the SHP truck
Working as a small team to prepare for our off-site build event
Who Were Looking For:
Volunteers comfortable with lifting/moving items
Physically active individuals
Dependable, team-oriented helpers
If you enjoy hands-on work and want to help us get ready to serve more kids in need of beds, wed love to have you join us!
