Donate Cleaning Kits for Volunteer Hours

YOUR ACTIVITY:
Create Clean Start Kits to support individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness. You can purchase the items yourself or host a drive, then assemble them into complete kits ready for distribution.

YOUR IMPACT:
Each year, we support over 11,000 people as they move into stable housing. While securing housing is a major milestone, having the right supplies to maintain a clean and healthy home is just as essential.

Your Clean Start Kits help residents settle into their new space with dignity, confidence, and the tools they need for a fresh start.

5 cleaning kits = 1 volunteer hour

REQUIREMENTS:

• All ages are welcome to participate

• We are unable to provide materials, but there are many ways to source them:

  • Purchasing items directly

  • Hosting a drive at your workplace, school, or place of worship

  • Adding our Amazon link to your birthday wishlist!

• Once kits are assembled, a drop-off time must be scheduled between 9am–5pm, Monday through Friday

KIT INSTRUCTIONS:
Please place all items into one reusable bag or sturdy container:

Necessary Items:

• 1 Multi-Purpose Cleaner

• 1 Container of Sanitizing Wipes

• 1 Dish Soap

• 1 Sponge

PROHIBITED ITEMS:

• Opened or used products

• Hazardous materials or chemicals beyond standard household cleaners
