Donation Organizing

YOUR ACTIVITY: Join us in supporting the efficient operation of our donation center! Volunteers will help sort and hang clothing, assemble kits, and assist during distribution times. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team to ensure donations are organized and ready for those who need them most.
YOUR IMPACT: Your efforts help provide essential items to individuals and families in need. By organizing and preparing donations, you ensure community members receive clean, properly fitting clothing and necessary supplies. With your help, we can swiftly sort and distribute donations to our community.

TASKS:
Sorting & Hanging Clothes

• Inspect donated clothing for damage or stains
• Sort clothing by category/season

Sorting Food Donation

• Check expiration dates
• Ensure all items are safe and in good condition

Assist in Creating Food Kits

• Assemble kits based on specific needs
• Package items neatly and label them correctly
• Restock inventory shelves with completed kits

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Must be over the age of 14 years old
• Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by a participating adult
  • One adult may supervise up to 2 minors (14+)
• Bring comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes
• Bring water to stay hydrated 

We do not fulfill court appointed service hours.
