Cleaning Kit Creation & Drive

YOUR ACTIVITY: Create cleaning kits for our participants transitioning out of homelessness and into their new home. Mom's Effect has generously donated the items and we need help assembling them so they're ready to be distributed! Feel free to bring along any of the four unopened cleaning items: sponge, dish soap, disinfecting wipes, or multi-purpose cleaner.

YOUR IMPACT: Each year, we support over 11,000 individuals as they transition into stable housing. While securing a home is a huge milestone, having the basic supplies to maintain a clean and healthy space is just as important. Many of our participants move in with very little, and these essentials can make a big difference in helping them start off on the right foot.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Any age may participate. If under 18, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and create a volunteer account.
• All volunteers must sign up for this volunteer opportunity prior to arriving at the event.
• Being able to stand for an extended period of time is recommended.
• Cannot have received LA Family Housing services for a full year.
