About this Opportunity

TWST4GIRLS is interviewingpotential support team members. You will be volunteering alongside TWST board members in the nonprofit logistics needed to support youth aged 8-17.TWSTKidsare from diversebackgrounds, underserved communities, working class families and potentially incarcerated or recently paroled youth.

Positions needed are:

Executive Secretary

  • Works closely with Executive Director
  • Provides administrative and clerical support
  • Prepares confidential and sensitive documents
  • Corresponds withparticipants and partners
  • Develops and maintains a filing system for participants and partners
  • Files and updates contact information of participants and partners
  • Documents expenses and hands in reports

Volunteer Coordinator

  • Ensure there is appropriate support and training for volunteers
  • Promote volunteering through recruitment and publicity strategies and campaigns
  • Ensure they are appropriately matched and trained for a position
  • Provide inductions and training
  • Monitor, support, motivate and accredit volunteers and their work
  • Celebrate volunteering by nominating volunteers for awards and organize celebration events
  • Offer advice and information to volunteers
  • Organize events to attract new volunteers

FundraisingManager

They might:

  • Develop a fundraising plan
  • Solicit donors
  • Create or locate fundraisers
  • Execute fundraising events
  • Work with the board of directors
  • Coordinate with board of directorsfor dates, numbers, and budgets
  • Write grant proposals to solicit funding from external resources.
  • Spearhead fundraising efforts
  • Secure financial support
  • Run special events for donors
  • Run other projects to ensure theorganization meets its annual goals
